Small data can make a big difference, and the 2020 Data for Impact Conference is designed to showcase and help you explore how.
We intermix current news with varied uses of data to highlight how you, as an individual, personally or professionally, can use data to make an impact. From storytelling to how-to sessions, to ethical and moral issues, we've got you covered. Some of the topics covered this year include— gerrymandering, prison data, public health data, storytelling with data, citizen research, tool intros, and more.
There should be something for everyone. Our online sessions have been shortened to keep your attention and allow for more Q&A. Additionally, provide opportunities for networking and interacting with speakers within and outside of the room.
The Data for Impact Conference is 2 days this year:
Monday, August 17th, from 12 pm to 5 pm
Tuesday, August 18th, from 9 am to 12 pm.
Mark your calendars. The full schedule of workshops will be available Monday, August 10th, 2020.
