About

**NOTE: This event has been postponed. Registered participants will be notified of new dates.**

Research has identified that when making decisions, we have a preferred “go to” process, which can be effective or ineffective given the circumstances and our audience. This training will provide participants with awareness about their decision-making preferences, the challenges or blind spots of those preferences, and how your style can impact your team. You will also learn tools to master all three styles to solve complex problems and make the decisions that will benefit the future of your organization. Class Description In this three-day online session, we will discuss: Day 1: Pandemic-Proof Problem Solving Day 2: Resistance. Change Management. 3 Ps to Decision Making Day 3: Hands-On Assessment Application Did you know that there are 3 approaches to finding solutions? When faced with a decision or a problem, our thoughts consider intrinsic, extrinsic & systemic factors. Research shows that in decision-making, we tend to favor one more than the other, which can result in effective solutions or ineffective ones. This subconscious, and automatic preference can impact the outcome of major goals and shape how we perceive ourselves and others. During this session, you will learn: The dimensions of thought & its impact on how we identify solutions. How emotions drive our decisions. How specific decision-making styles hinder or support company and team goals. The framework to re-design individual and organizational problem solving for best outcomes. Participants also gain access to an advanced instrument that measures and identities how their decision-making preferences align with the current or intended role. It currently meets the rigorous standards for employment assessments referenced by the US Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). “Aisha’s energy and style were particularly great. She clearly has a handle on this subject. The occasional self deprecation was awesome for our midwestern sensibilities. Would definitely recommend her to others as a presenter.” Melissa Gower; Gower Tutoring, Owner Registration Location: Online Dates: August 15-17, 2022 Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am CST each day (participants must join all 3 sessions) Fee: This $279 course is being offered at no cost due to funding from the CARES Act.
