The headline tech conference of the Forward Festival, the Forward Technology Conference (FTC) is geared toward startup founders, tech geeks, and those wanting to build successful technology companies. Whether you’re thinking about launching a startup business or you’re an experienced entrepreneur, you’ll find this conference relevant and insightful.
FTC is by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. You’ll get real perspective from tech startup leaders who are actually in the trenches building successful companies. You’ll hear everything from best practices to war stories, and you’ll walk away with real concrete learnings and actionables - not high level generalizations about broad topics.
This year's lineup focuses on three important areas of building a startup tech company:
Culture of the Remote Workplace
Building a successful remote workplace is paramount for nearly all tech startup companies. You’ll hear from startup leaders about their company's remote culture, what works and how, and what isn't working and why. This is focused on how to setup and build a successful remote workplace, including applicable best practices, processes, and remote "tech stacks” to facilitate remote teams.
Building Successful Products
Without a commercially successful product a company dies. A series of speakers from successful technology companies will share their insight on product development process best practices, how to build hype around a product, and how to leverage an open source community to build a globally successful company.
Funding, Exits, and the Circle of Life
Through a series of intimate Fireside Chats and AMA-style discussions, you’ll hear directly from veteran startup founders who will take a deep dive into how to structure funding through the different stages of a company, how to choose the right investors, and how to build a company that is setup for success (and an exit).
Access to this event is included with the Forward Pass.
